About the team
Our national Employer Services team support our clients to better run their payroll functions and to ensure they are compliant with UK payroll and pension legislation. Our successful team of more than 50 payroll professionals are well-established as a known payroll bureau, and we will now add HR services into our offering to continue being able to meet all our client's evolving needs.
About the role
* This role will report directly to the Partner who is the business unit leader for Employer Services.
* As the first appointment for our HR client service team, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to build your own team and services, whilst having full support from our own marketing, recruitment and payroll teams.
* In the first 12 months, you will identify and deploy the various HR advisory services most applicable to our clients whilst ensuring financial budgets are being met.
* You will confidently establish an internal profile across all Forvis Mazars service lines and offices to ensure the wider firm is aware of the HR service.
* You will begin to build the HR client base by proposing recommendations to our current client base, attending and delivering proposal meetings with prospect clients, and provide thought leadership content to be included in our digital marketing strategy.
* You will guarantee client service standards are maintained by ensuring your team are adhering to all mandatory processes and providing quality control reviews, and maintaining strong client relationships.
* You will develop junior members of your team with training, consistent feedback and coaching as appropriate.
What are we looking for?
* Desirable: Experience in providing HR services in a bureau/client environment.
* Essential: Experience of managing direct reports.
* Essential: Level 7 CIPD.
* Leadership skills – communicate compelling strategies, drive results, comfortable giving constructive feedback at all levels and be an innovative change leader.
* Excellent client relationship skills and confident advising clients on both technical and commercial matters, as well as prospective clients.
* Proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Confident in delivering new people strategies, ensuring adherence to UK employment laws, managing complex employee relations issues and advising on efficient HR systems.
