Programme Detail
1. The Sussex Mentoring Service: The Sussex Mentoring Service (SMS) offers a limited number of mentoring sessions with trained mentors to multiple professionals in Sussex. Mentors are recruited, trained, and commit to a recognised standard of mentoring practice. Mentors receive a fixed payment to cover preparation, session delivery and any other expenses arising from the session. Mentors can only deliver the number of sessions per month that have been agreed by Sussex Training Hub (STH).
Mentees apply to receive mentoring by completing an online application. The programme aims to match mentees with a mentor from the same profession. If the number of mentees exceeds the number of mentor sessions available, or an appropriate mentor is not available, mentees are put on a waiting list.
