Job Description
Blue Arrow is recruiting for experienced Head chefs to work 40 hours on an ongoing temporary basis in the South Yorkshire area.
Chef must have Level 2 / 3 Food and Safety valid certificate and also completed Allergy Awareness course to show.
Shifts available Monday-Sunday. Hours may vary from 7am-4pm to evening/night shifts. Hourly pay varies, starting at £15 per hour. We pay holiday pay and pension!
You will need to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with registration and legislative requirements at all times. Responsibilities include:
1. Planning and preparation of food to provide meals in accordance with menus and food policies.
2. Ensuring the kitchen and equipment are always kept suitably clean, including walls, floors, and trolleys to transport food following a cleaning schedule.
3. Making sure that daily all crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils are washed in accordance with food safety guidelines.
4. Ensuring that all foods are ready at the specified time and correctly served, catering for all individual dietary requirements in line with guidance.

Requirements:
1. Food and Hygiene certificate level 2/3
2. Minimum 1 year experience
3. Enhanced DBS
