Description/Job Summary To deliver quality-driven and timely professional recruitment for the European offices including London, Brussels and Luxembourg as required. Working closely with the Associate Director – Recruiting to provide full 360 recruitment support to STB. Roles will include fee earners, business services and supporting the hiring of US graduates for our annual summer programme as well as LLM candidates as required. Responsibilities/Duties Acting as an ambassador for the recruitment team at all times and STB to external suppliers and candidates. Implementing a consistent approach, standards and quality of service across the Firm. Having a strong customer service approach to partners and business service managers. Ensuring the Firm has agreed terms of business in place with recruitment agents and working with the Associate Director, Recruitment on agreeing and amending terms as required. Ensuring correct candidate management via the firm’s applicant tracking system. Initiate and increase direct sourcing where possible. Drafting and agreeing offer letters with the supervision of the Associate Director – Recruiting and partners. Drafting job descriptions as required with the guidance of the Associate Director – Recruiting and liaising with the partners and hiring managers. Maintaining positive working relationships with legal search firms, as well as other recruitment contacts and resources. Ensuring that Vi desktop and other trackers are maintained for interview schedules and interview evaluations. Preparing management reports to assess return on investment of attraction strategies, efficiency of processes and diversity of our talent pool. Leverage data to monitor trends and identify actionable insights. Develop a strong understanding of the business in order to brief agents and shortlist candidates appropriately. Promote diversity principles and good practice, providing advice on current initiatives and supporting new diversity initiatives and projects. Working alongside the Associate Director – Recruiting and the Diversity and Inclusion Manager. Work with the London and NY HR teams to ensure a joined-up approach to ensure that a seamless service is provided to the business. With the input of external immigration advisers, to co-ordinate visa applications for all hires when needed. Keep up to date with changing law and requirements e.g. IR35, GDPR and changes to the legal qualification processes. Assist with onboarding programme to ensure that all new joiners have an outstanding experience. Ensure all new joiner documentation is returned and NY informed and NY sent the relevant documentation. Work closely with the Associate Director – Recruiting and escalate matters where appropriate. Work closely with the wider HR team to offer colleagues support as required. Adhoc projects as required Other administrative duties as required. Required Skills At least 7 years’ experience recruiting for law firms or professional services environment. Familiarity with legal academic and professional systems across both US and UK. Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in French an advantage. Experience of working in a high performance, international environment. An international outlook and cultural awareness. Commitment to own professional development and growth. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a collegiate organisation. Passion for delivering solutions and results orientated.
