Our client, a family-run SME in an exciting and fast-growing industry sector, is seeking a driven and adaptable Specification Sales Executive to join their team. The company operates in the Offshore Wind industry, offering high-quality, innovative solutions that drive safety, reliability, and project success.
The Role
As the Specification Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s product range becomes the preferred choice for Offshore Wind Farm designers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers at all levels.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Monitoring the sales process throughout project specifications, ensuring pipeline values are maintained and increased.
* Market Development: Engaging with stakeholders in Offshore Wind projects to identify opportunities for tailored solutions.
* Brand Representation: Attending industry events and supporting marketing initiatives.
* Collaboration: Working closely with Engineering and Marketing teams to drive new product development and launches.
* Strategic Insights: Providing market and customer insights to leadership.
Requirements
* Experience in a specification sales role.
* Strong negotiation skills with an ability to sell effectively across all levels.
* Highly motivated, ambitious, and adaptable, with a humble and team-oriented approach.
* A commitment to learning and understanding the Offshore Wind industry.
* Background in the energy sector is preferred; engineering knowledge is advantageous.
