Our client is looking for an Account Executive (sales) to work in the exciting world of Broadcast PR. The role will require proactive outreach to new and existing PR agencies to ensure their campaigns and products are exposed to the best broadcast platforms and programmes on television, radio, social media, and podcasts. During your training period, you will be based in their Northwest Hertfordshire office before working in a hybrid manner.
Extensive targeted training will be given by the MD and Head of Sales. My client is looking for someone who has the drive, determination, resilience, and personality to plan and execute outreach to new and existing PR agencies and sell my client's expert services. Some previous sales experience and a degree would be preferable but not essential. This is a junior role in the business, so attitude and aptitude are more important.
Responsibilities:
* Identify PR brands and companies in your given specific industry and sub-sectors.
* Identify relevant angles and news stories to reactive campaigns.
* Create a list of key clients to actively develop strong working relationships.
* Attend client meetings, initially with senior team members, to learn the sales pitch and campaign management process through to campaign completion.
* Update all activities on their CRM.
* After the extensive training, you will have a solid grasp of the sales process, the proposition, and all services offered by the company to enable you to not only meet but exceed client expectations and build a strong client base.
* You will have clear weekly expectations which will set you up to meet and exceed your sales targets.
