Please note, this role is based out of our Holborn Store Support Centre & Home. Colleagues go into the office 1-2 times per month on average.

In this role, you will work alongside other Reward Managers and Advisors to deliver our key reward processes such as job evaluation and pay benchmarking, as well as providing reward expertise on projects. You'll also design, develop, and implement reward policies and processes which contribute to the development of the overarching Reward strategy, aligned to the long-term People strategy and our overall business objectives, including but not limited to embedding a revised job architecture.
This role is on an 11-month fixed term contract basis.
You will design, deliver, and implement Reward policies, processes, and procedures in relation to Group projects, seeking stakeholder input before making recommendations. Projects could relate to the Group or specific divisions within the Group. You will undertake research and analysis of internal and external Reward trends, provide analysis of external legislative change, and keep abreast with, and have foresight, regarding legislative developments to consider the impact on our Group Reward Strategy and policies.
More about you
* Good working knowledge of Sainsbury’s People Policies and reward structures, or within a similar size organisation
* Experience at Reward Manager level, or equivalent, with strong experience in job evaluation
* Confident in Excel - Highly analytical and numerate, with strong attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong judgement skills, with the ability to make appropriate decisions at pace
* Ability to plan and execute successfully
* Provide insightful analysis which supports the Reward team to achieve business objectives
* High level of initiative and can work independently
