Role Overview: As a Sous Chef at COMO The Halkin, you will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen operations. This includes overseeing the team, assisting with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stock rotation. The orle requires strong leadership skills, particularly as you will step into the Head Chef position in the absence of the Head Chef.

Key responsibilities:
* Oversee daily kitchen activities and team management
* Assist with menu preparation and ensure food quality and freshness
* Monitor ordering and stock rotation
* Lead the kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence
* Provide guidance to junior chefs and supervise food preparation and presentation
* Ensure a hygienic and safe kitchen environment
Who you are:
* Knowledgeable: Trained with extensive culinary knowledge
* Experienced: Previous five-star hotel or fine dining experience
* Organised: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Qualified: Level 3 Supervising Food Safety Qualification
* Communicative: Excellent spoken and written English with strong verbal and communication skills
* Motivated: Self-motivated and a creative problem-solver
