Sous Chef, (with the potential of Kitchen Manager Role)
My client is looking for a Sous Chef to join them on a Permanent Basis, with the potential to progress.

Position: Sous Chef
Job Type: Full-time, working Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (no bank holidays)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience, paid weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
* Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, maintaining high levels of morale and teamwork.
* Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes are to the highest standard.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
* Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
* Work closely with the Head Chef to develop new menus and seasonal specials.
* Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
* Exceptional culinary skills and attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for food and a creative approach to menu development.
* Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience preferred.
