We are seeking a HR Associate to join our growing team in London. You will be part of our global HR team who value collaboration, teamwork and trust and deliver high-quality HR expertise to the business. Based in our London office, you will report to the HR Lead, UK & Nordics and will also be well supported by other EMEA HR colleagues. In an international environment, this diverse role would appeal to a HR generalist who enjoys all aspects of HR, such as business partnering, employee relations, and HR projects, operations and compliance. This role would suit a motivated junior HR professional, looking to further develop their HR career and enjoys partnering with the business within a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be a trusted advisor and provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, using the appropriate communication lines, databases and systems to address queries and provide solutions to the business and employees.
2. Partner with the EMEA Recruitment team on hiring needs, including conducting HR interviews when necessary, supporting the offer and onboarding process and managing visa applications when required.
3. Manage complex case work ensuring a best practice approach is followed.
4. Oversee and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees.
5. Facilitate the performance management and development of our employees.
6. Communicate HR policies and processes and ensure policies are up to date and compliant with local legislation.
7. In collaboration with the Global HR team, support activities such as the performance review process, promotion process and compensation review.
8. Supporting the HR team with benefits management.
9. Build strong relationships and collaborate with other groups (such as Payroll, Finance, Corporate Services & IT) to support the business and employees appropriately.
10. Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions to address the needs of a growing organization.
11. Partner with other HR Generalists across EMEA and in the US and APAC on company-wide policies and initiatives.
12. Supporting the team with projects such as M&A change management programmes, well-being, remuneration, culture and engagement, and other HR related work streams.
13. Ensuring compliance with Immigration/UK Sponsorship License responsibilities.
14. Ensuring employee data on Workday is kept accurate.
15. In collaboration with the UK HR team, ensure monthly payroll changes are actioned.
REQUIREMENTS
16. A HR professional with hands-on experience covering a wide range of HR duties.
17. Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of HR best practice and a proactive approach to professional development, including keeping up to date with Employment Law developments, HR trends and evolutions in the people profession.
18. Relevant experience in a similar role preferably at a growing organisation.
19. Strong understanding of employment law and ability to handle complex employee relations cases.
20. Experience of M&A activities would be highly beneficial.
21. Excellent listening, coaching, negotiation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
22. Ability to build strong relationships across a global business and be seen as a trusted advisor.
23. Act with integrity, credibility and professionalism at all times.
24. Demonstrable sound judgement and decision-making skills
25. Strong collaboration skills and able to build relationships across all levels of the business in a global operating environment.
26. Able to prioritise and manage many tasks simultaneously.
27. Client focused and actively partner with management and the HR team to achieve business objectives while respecting HR processes and policies.
28. Solutions-oriented mindset, actively seeking and implementing effective solutions to problems.
29. Strong technical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office required and experience of using Workday would be beneficial.
30. CIPD Level 5 qualification would be advantageous.
