Job Description
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives
* Build out the HR Operations function - systems, processes, policies and procedures.
* Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
* Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
* Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
* Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
* Nurture a positive working environment
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Director should have:
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the Human Resources field
* Knowledge of HR systems and databases
* Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
* Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Degree in Human Resources or related field
