We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Manager for one of our vibrant and busy Academy kitchens at Beddington Park Academy.
The successful candidate must:
1. Have previously managed, assisted or deputised own unit.
2. Have a knowledge of food preparation.
3. Have experience of training staff in basic kitchen skills.
4. Be able to lead and motivate staff.
5. Demonstrate a willingness and enthusiasm for training and progression.
6. Have an ability to read and complete simple instructions, such as cleaning rota, work rota, temperature and control sheets.
7. Be able to communicate with all kitchen staff and pupils.
8. Display and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
9. Be able to encourage children to select a balanced meal.
10. Display a commitment to the Trust’s equalities policies.
