Responsibilities:
1. Lead the way in ensuring that business leaders remain accountable for their employees by providing coaching on HR policies, people management, and career development. Utilize data and provide people analytics to support impactful, data-driven decisions.
2. Participate actively in country HR projects to share standard processes and drive the improvement, development, and harmonization of UK-wide HR policies and processes.
3. Support management in employment and employee relations matters, including conduct, capability, grievances, disciplinary actions, reductions in force, restructuring, and health issues. Identify regional employee relation trends and assist in resolving issues with business areas.
4. Partner with HR’s Center of Excellence (COE) to implement large-scale HR initiatives, ensuring adherence to the HR model across activities.
5. Assist divisional HR Business Partners and leaders in programs and strategies that impact attraction, motivation, development, and retention of employees within the UK North Region.
6. Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives to identify improvements and cost savings for the business.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.
* Experience in various HR functions such as talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, employee relations, and organizational development.
* Preferred background in manufacturing environments or rapid expansion contexts.
* Thorough knowledge of labor and employment laws, regulations, and HR concepts, with experience advising the business.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Strong process improvement orientation.
* Competent in data collection and interpretation, proficient in Excel functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas.
* Passion for colleague development and enhancing management capabilities.
* Excellent analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, and influencing skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of communicating effectively at all organizational levels, including employee relations, coaching, and presentations.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on projects.
* Proven project and time management skills, thriving in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
* Personal awareness, a desire for continual learning, structured, determined, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
