The Pelican in Chew Magna is looking to employ a full-time Sous Chef for the launch of our new breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. We will not be running a dinner service so this is a great opportunity to keep your evenings free.
About us:
The Peli is at the centre of the beautiful village of Chew Magna. We have just undergone a major renovation and reopened the pub with Phase 1 of the works being completed at the end of November and now Phase 2 will begin with a remodel of the kitchen and the construction of our bespoke hotel rooms.
Serving modern British food: Our dishes are homemade and hand-prepared, and we go to great lengths to source our produce responsibly and locally, all to ensure our food is the best it can be.
About you:

The role of Sous Chef will require you to do: Day-to-day kitchen management, menu construction, inventory management, food prep, setting up, cleaning and cooking.
You will work under the direction and support of the Head Chef, and have the network of other head chefs from The Pony Restaurant Group to develop alongside.
We hope for the job to be a space where you can hone your skills and grow as a chef.
