We are looking for a dedicated andexperienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team here at the MercureBrands Hatch Hotel & Spa in Kent. The ideal candidate willhave a passion for cooking and a strong background in kitchenmanagement. As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for assistingthe Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations ensuring thequality and consistency of dishes and maintaining a clean andorganised workspace. You will also be involved in menu planninginventory management and staff training. The role requiresexcellent leadership skills the ability to work under pressure anda commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety andhygiene. You will be expected to step in and take charge in theabsence of the Head Chef making this a critical role in our kitchenhierarchy. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detaila creative approach to problemsolving and the ability to inspireand motivate the kitchen team. Qualifications:
* Provenexperience as a Sous Chef or similarrole.
* Culinary degree or equivalentexperience.
* Strong knowledge ofcooking techniques andrecipes.
