We are looking for a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary department at Grosvenor House Suites!
As a Junior Sous Chef you will work alongside the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to achieve highest standards of food production and customer service.
To be responsible under the supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and in their absence, for the production, control, and issue of all food items in the kitchen in accordance with Company and Hotel policies, procedures, standards and to meet customer satisfaction
Your main duties include (but are not limited to):
To manage a shift and the team in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
To assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in writing standard recipes which allow the restaurant to run at an acceptable food cost.
To assist the Executive Chef in minimizing payroll costs by maximising productivity and efficient scheduling of employees
