Your newpany
My client is a global logistics business based in Southampton with many locations across the world.
Your new role
This is a varied HR Generalist role to support the HR team of 4 with their workload at a particularly busy time. You will join this experienced, supportive team for approximately 3 months with the possibility of this term being extended. This position offers hybrid working beyond the first couple of weeks in the Southampton office while you settle in and meet the team. My client is also open to considering someone full-time ( hours / week, preferred) or part-time from hours / 3 days+.
Along with the HR team, you will provide a customer focused service to key stakeholders. Use a business partnering approach to assist the function to/implement and execute global and local HR initiatives. Assist with the introduction and development of tools for consistent and efficient use and interpretation of HR policies, processes, procedures and initiatives in the UK.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be CIPD qualified (level 3 minimum) with experience in an HR / People Generalist role at an advisor level or similar. Knowledge of Workday (HRIS) and having worked in an environment with blue-collar workers will be an advantage, but is not essential. Given the nature of this being a temporary role, you must be immediately available or available on short notice (1 week).
What you'll get in return
You can either receive an hourly / daily rate or pro-rata'd FTC equivalent to between £30,000-£36,000 (FTE). You will benefit from hybrid working as above and free on-site parking.
