L&D Manager/ Training Manager
up to £43000 - BASED ON £39K + £4k CAR ALLOWANCE rising to £5k. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have multi-site training management experience managing a team of trainers and be happy to drive around the Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

You will have robust, recent experience as a training manager, managing a team of trainers across multiple sites, across a region, or nationally.
The role is home-based Leadership Development covering Hertfordshire. This is an exciting time for a Leadership Development person to join a successful business and a talented team. The successful candidate will need to have a Training/ Teaching qualification, Leadership Development experience, and ideally, a CIPD qualification. You will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in developing and facilitating learning and growth programmes within a large and complex organisational setting.
You have experience in applying all aspects of the training cycle and working consultatively with internal and external customers and providers.
You will have a background in leadership development, organisational development, and ideally within the healthcare arena.
The role is integral to creating a culture of learning, continual professional growth, and strong, effective, compassionate leadership. It provides an opportunity for you to work consultatively with business stakeholders and external providers to develop and deliver value for money and innovative and impactful learning. The scope of the role includes utilising your training/ L&D expertise to lead on organisational development company-wide projects.
This role is home-based with frequent travel.
Candidate requirements - essential:
* You will have previously managed a team of trainers and trained in a multi-site environment.
* Training/ Teaching qualification, and ideally CIPD qualified, you will have comprehensive knowledge and experience in developing and facilitating learning and growth programmes within a large and complex organisational setting.
* You have experience in applying all aspects of the training cycle and working consultatively with internal and external customers and providers.
* You are a confident communicator who creates credible and professional relationships at all levels.
* You have experience in designing and facilitating high-quality learning resources, using appropriate technology to present a blended approach which delivers quality and value for money.
* You have applied practical knowledge of leading and managing individuals and teams, coaching, and developing existing leaders and working in partnership with other areas and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
