Figurati is a modern Italian restaurant on the waterfront in Southampton. The restaurant seats approx 65 covers with an emphasis on serving local seasonal produce. The menu consists of an extensive cicchetti selection, also including quality pasta & pizza dishes.

What we expect from a senior sous:
1. Previous experience working as a sous chef in a fresh, fast paced environment.
2. Passion for food and current food trends
3. A good level knowledge in modern Italian cuisine
4. Good eye for detail to achieve constant high standards
5. Strong leadership & organisational skills
6. Be able to assist the head chef in the day to day running of the kitchen
7. Be able to assist & train junior members of the team. To nurture them into what we need
8. Have a good understanding of food cost control, be able to manage GP percentages
9. To have high standards in personal appearance
10. To be able to clearly communicate with both FOH & BOH teams before, during & after service
