Groobarbs Wild Farm is looking for two customer-focused sales executives to join our team. Over the last 10 years, Groobox has grown to be one of the region's premium food producers. Winning The Cheshire Taste Awards “Food Producer of the Year” and “Sustainability“ awards last year was a testament to the work we have done so far, but now we aim to grow and double our customer base in 2025! As a result, we require 2 highly motivated individuals, either with experience in direct sales or with confidence in their own transferable skills to be able to quickly learn and adapt to a sales and marketing role.
Our purpose is to grow the most nutritional and fresh produce and deliver it to the people of the Northwest, whilst creating a customer base that is engaged and wants to learn about food, be healthier, and see the farm where the produce comes from. We grow over 50 different crops in Cheshire and direct sell everything we grow via our Groobox veggie boxes.
Finally, a product to believe in? Fresh fruit and veg, completely pesticide and chemical-free, grown sustainably and harvested within a day of delivery. Local food grown by local farmers and delivered to the local community.
We have developed a strong customer acquisition marketing strategy:
1. Face-to-face residential sales focusing on the best demographics for new or expanding delivery routes.
2. Sales-driven, brand-exposing event marketing.
3. Telemarketing previous, current, and prospective new customers.
We are looking for two candidates initially with the confidence and work ethic to excel in all three areas.
Direct sales experience would be advantageous, but we do provide full training, so experience in other forms of sales, marketing, and customer service-based roles will be transferable.
The role is semi-remote and will require you to commute to different areas in and around Cheshire as well as to the office on the farm, so the role is not suitable for a non-driver. Your time will be split between the three routes to market, with the events marketing taking precedent as this is the most productive area of customer acquisition and will require you to work some weekend days. Weekend work is arranged around your personal schedule for your convenience, as although they are our most productive days, we strongly believe in work/life balance. The residential marketing may be done as a team or individually. Residential sales focus on supporting logistics and allow us to tailor sales growth in the areas we need them most to optimize efficiency. This form of sales and marketing will require you to be able to manage your own motivation and attitude along with working well as part of a team. The telemarketing is a work-from-home role but can also be done from the office if preferred. Designed to maximize sales whilst minimizing cancellations, it’s a very relaxed customer-focused role bringing respite from fast-paced face-to-face marketing.
Extensive training in all 3 areas will be provided to the successful candidate.
