Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with an establishment in the Derbyshire area who are looking to recruit a Junior Sous Chef on a full time, permanent basis.
Hours: 45 hours a week, working on 4 days on 3 days off rota between the hours of 10:30am - 9:30pm.
Salary: Up to £35,000
My client is looking for a candidate who has previous experience working with fresh food and at a high volume as this establishment is based in the heart of one of Derbyshire's busiest towns.
What will you be doing at Junior Sous Chef?
* General food preparation
* Previous experience as a cook
* Filling away deliveries
* Washing utensils and dishes
* Great communication and teamwork skills
* Cook all food to excellent quality
* Storing and sorting ingredients properly.
* Passion for food
* Ability to work under pressure
* Own chef whites and chef knives
* Ensuring food prep areas are clean in line with health and safety and food hygiene procedures.
Skills required:
1. Food hygiene level 2 (dated within the last three years)
2. Previous experience as a Senior Chef De Partie/Junior Sous Chef
3. Happy to clean any areas needed.
4. Has excellent organisation and time-management skills
