What You’ll Be Doing Key responsibilities will include: Scope, design and build new tooling to support key deliverables, primarily using Alteryx, Databases and Excel. Maintain existing tooling and underlying infrastructure within the team to ensure data quality, process robustness and scalability. Utilising on-system/off system calculation(s) of prices for individual or groups of customers and developing bespoke solutions for new requirements. Validate and analyse customer, volumetric and cost data to calculate/generate accurate reconciliations and monitoring for a range of products. Validate and analyse customer, volumetric and cost data to calculate values to fulfil contract delivery commitments e.g. Energy and Non-Energy cost reconciliation, Volume Tolerance charges etc. Analyse requests from a strategic, commercial and operational perspective, ensuring that best approach is taken to achieve accurate and timely contract delivery, providing recommendations to the Contract Delivery Manager Own and deliver training, along with best practice guidance to onshore/offshore Contract Delivery Analysts, creating a cross-functional and engaged working environment. Represent Contract Delivery as a key stakeholder in operational meetings, in support of or in substitute to the Contract Delivery Manager Lead on the review of key Pricing methods and processes, in line with regulatory change and innovation pro-actively analyses and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Who You Are We’re looking for someone with advanced computer skills, who can create complex end-to-end data transformation workflows including the use of macros. You’ll have strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with proven ability to influence decision makers. As a Data Engineer, you’ll need a keenness to challenge the current status quo and look for innovative ways to improve processes along with excellent problem-solving skills, identifying root causes and offering.
