Key Responsibilities
* Develop and create new dishes and menus that reflect the restaurant's Michelin star quality.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Conduct research on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu development.
* Oversee the testing and tasting of new dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff on new recipes and techniques.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Being involved with foraging and gardening.
Key Skills, Qualities & Experience
* Proven experience working in a Michelin star restaurant.
* Strong culinary skills and creativity.
* Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and trends.
* Attention to detail and a passion for food.
* Hands-on approach to work, always being productive and looking to improve.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and management.
* Detail-oriented and drives standards.
* Possess a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Friendly, courteous and helpful with excellent communication skills.
