Job Description Sales Executive – York (outskirts – hybrid / remote) TeamCandour have partnered with a multi-award winning technology outfit looking to grow their sales team with a new executive – experience in the sector is of course preferable but of more importance is the attitude and career focus Key responsibilities: To actively seek out new sales opportunities and prospect new customers To own sales opportunities independently To manage the sales cycle from start to finish To provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the Sector Sales Manager as specified To qualify inbound opportunities To proactively ensure that your own knowledge of all relevant products, services and licensing agreements is up to date To provide support to the wider team who deal with existing customers To maintain appropriate customer records on the Phoenix sales order processing system Use the business tools provided to enhance your knowledge within your customer base To adhere to relevant Key Performance Indicators for the Sales Team Support objectives as defined in the company’s information security policy Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook First-rate telephone, email and IM skills Ability to prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met Effective time management skills with the ability to plan ahead Commitment to see a job through to a successful conclusion A flexible approach to the working day A strong team player and work ethic To be passionate about sales and providing an expectation customer service We're available to chat through the details of what could be your ideal next career move, feel free to reach out anytime
