Jobstore are currently looking for a Sales Executive to drive sales and account relationships for a local and specialist brewery working across the Merseyside region.
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will focus on supporting and driving sales within a range of On and Off Trade customers. As a member of the team, you will be delivering against set objectives and KPI’s within a fun and fast-paced environment, while being able to sell one of the most exciting portfolios in this sector.
Key tasks:
1. Responsibility for growing and retaining your existing customer base and new business sales across the Merseyside Region, working with licensed bars, restaurants, hotels, and pubs.
2. Ensure the correct balance of prospect calls to existing stockists to drive customer wins.
3. Utilise all your sales experience available to ensure that new distribution is both won and secured through contracts.
4. Strengthen existing relationships within your region as well as growing and developing your network further by identifying new opportunities for business.
5. Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times.
6. Be passionate about the industry, keeping up to date with new trends and industry news.
Experience we require:
1. Live within the Merseyside region and have a full driving license.
2. Demonstrate excellent customer service, sales, & interpersonal skills to create first-class customer relationships.
3. Be commercially aware - demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities, negotiate deals and close transactions.
4. Previous Experience of sales in a similar brewery/licensed trade environment is essential.
5. Clear communication skills, both verbal and written to convey information, influence decisions and build rapport.
6. Time Management – Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks, manage diary and meet sales targets within deadlines.
7. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adaptable to change.
