The Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor is looking for aHead Chefwho will be responsible for ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by planning, organising, directing and controlling food production for the Retrouve and Bombay Pavilion. Ideal candidate must have minimum 3 years of Head Chef experience in the Hospitality field.
The key Responsibilities will include:
* Manage all production functions of the kitchen and the kitchen staff.
* Motivate, develop and train supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards
* Exhibit exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management.
* Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
* Ensure the correct procedures are followed while maintaining high standards at all times
* Actively involved in menu development and calculates food costs for all menu items
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirement
Essential skills required:
* Has experience and understanding of food mass production.
* Passionate about food, with a charismatic, vibrant & high energy approach
* Excellent knowledge of food hygiene & handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerances
* Experience in leading, motivating and inspiring a team
* Performance, achievement and results driven
