Sous Chef
Required for a gorgeous and exclusive elite venue on the outskirts of Haywards Heath, West Sussex. If you are looking for a role that offers set hours, no regular late nights and encourages input and ideas then look no further!
Hours: Wednesday to Sunday 8.30am till 5pm
Evenings may be occasionally required when the venue have special events on site or seasonal functions.

To ensure smooth running of service
To support Head Chef and be able to run the kitchen in the absence of the HC
To support with the development and continued growth of an expanding elite standard restaurant and cafe
Having a passion for hospitality and have experience being a strong Sous or Chef de Partie and have experience working with fresh, high quality produce
Good attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organisational skills with an ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Works well within a team and independently
Able to cook and prepare meals using fresh quality ingredients.
Support in the kitchen during prep time The successful candidate will have the following:
A confident understanding of Larder, Dessert, Vegetables, Meat & Fish prep
Health & safety level 2
