A new opportunity has arisen for Head Chef to work in the kitchen at Halsey House.
You will co-ordinate all aspects of kitchen production so that food is prepared to the agreed standard and that time deadlines are met. You will produce and deliver food to a high standard of quality and presentation, within budget.
Educated to NVQ 3 Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent and an immediate food hygiene certificate, you will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for large number of people and experience of catering to meet special dietary requirements. In addition, you will be an effective communicator and have experience of leading a team and the management of stock control.
Previous experience of catering for people with specific dietary requirements, maintaining standards within Catering Department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential.
