What We Expect
* Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring high-quality food production.
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
* Oversee the kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and efficient operations.
* Monitor food inventory, maintaining stock levels and ensuring optimal food quality.
* Assist in menu planning and item selection while taking into account customer preferences.
* Enforce health and safety regulations in the kitchen to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their professional development.
* Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Contribute to the creation of seasonal and special event menus.
* Handle any kitchen issues, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
