Responsibilities
* Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others. Considers mission, vision and values in developing services, standards and practices.
* Oversees and manages activities of Recruitment and Retention to ensure recruitment of the highest quality staff in accordance with staffing objectives.
* Supervises recruitment and selection process for all positions which encompass weekly job opportunities, internal sourcing and processing, development of strategies for filling market scarce positions, attendance at job fairs and career days and provides departmental support on forecasting employment demands.
* Collaborates with Directors of the health care team on the application/selection process and advises on options for filling vacant positions.
* Collaborates with the Directors strategies to promote the image of DHR Health Clinics’ professional practice model.
* Screens, interviews, reference checks, and extend offers for administrative, management, advanced practice, Home Care and clinical positions.
* Advises Clinical Directors on salary information recommend grading levels and collaborate with Compensation to determine appropriate salary offers.
* Independently plan, implement and develop recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques to identify talented Advanced Practice Providers, RN, and clinical support candidates.
* Recruit, screen, interview, and refer applicants for employment to hiring Directors.
* Interface with advertising and other agencies in order to coordinate marketing materials, brochures and give-a-ways. Recommend marketing techniques, strategies and media needs
* Attends programs that enhance human resource knowledge and skills and provide opportunities to keep current with labor law and new federal regulations that affect hiring practices.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in health care recruitment required, including but not limited to sourcing, cold-calling, and developing short-term and pipeline recruitment programs.
* Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring qualified candidates especially for difficult to fill positions
* Computer skills required to include the use and evaluation of applicant tracking and HRIS software as well as Microsoft Office
* Must be able to occasionally travel, sometimes including overnight stays as well as night and weekend work.
* Knowledge of State, Federal, and Joint Commission regulations.
