Our Restaurant Supervisor
Reporting to our Head of Food & Beverage; this customer-facing role is part of a small, dedicated team, working closely with our in-house chefs and events team to deliver outstanding food and service to Horseshoe Farm employees and visitors.
Customer Experience
* Ensure a clean, inviting and well-maintained front-of-house, creating a fantastic user experience.
* Serve as the welcoming face of the restaurant, maintaining a friendly and approachable presence throughout the day.
* Greet employees and visitors warmly, assist with any queries, and provide outstanding customer service.
* Take full responsibility for all front-of-house areas, proactively resolving issues where possible or escalating them to the manager or head chef as needed.
* Oversee an efficient lunch service, managing sittings to minimise queues and wait times.
* Manage special requests, including table bookings for visitors.
* Process payments when required.
Operational Compliance, Maintenance & Upkeep
* Maintain cleanliness adhering to regulations, ensuring food safety procedures are followed throughout the restaurant and pot wash areas throughout the day.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies and all company procedures, monitoring and enforcing standards as required.
* Wash and polish cutlery, clean pots, and maintain cleanliness consistently throughout service.
* Handle restaurant close-down duties, including restocking cutlery, crockery, and confectionary ensuring all areas are clean and prepared for the next day.
* Properly dispose of rubbish and recycling, ensuring bins are correctly sorted.
Planning, Stock Management & Administration
* Develop and implement processes to ensure smooth daily operations, particularly during peak periods.
* Collaborate with reception to develop, organise, and execute food-based employee engagement events.
* Manage internal communications; Print and present menus daily, liaising with chefs for allergen information and ensuring accurate communication.
* Keep records of weekly sales, monitor stock levels, and manage ordering for all front-of-house items.
* Produce monthly purchase order requests for stock replenishment.
* Replenish coffee machines and other service areas as needed.
* Maintain and update customer signage as necessary.
* Perform any additional tasks reasonably required by Head of F&B or head chef.

Professional Experience
* A well-presented and vibrant customer service professional with a background in a fast-paced catering environment.
* Front of House experience working for a luxury brand / premium brand ambassador.
* Well versed in kitchen regulations; demonstrable experience in cleanliness & safety.
* Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software, such as Point of Sale (POS), Restaurant Management Software & Microsoft Office; our Restaurant Supervisor should be technologically astute.

* Confident, independent & vibrant personality; able to demonstrate adaptability and positivity with staff & guests.
* A ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure an exemplary customer experience.
