Role: Sous-Chef Operation: Deli/Restaurant Location: Edinburgh Hours: £30-35K DAY TIME HOURS Ellis Mack is working with this well-established Edinburgh operator with a fantastic reputation and busy daytime trade. If you are an eager, passionate Sous chef who wants to create outside the box this role is for you. This kitchen prides itself on using the best local ingredients available for the healthy options in mind with more choices leaning towards vegetarian/vegan dishes. This is an extremely busy restaurant based in Edinburgh and will need a chef that has worked in this kind of operation previously. Role/Responsibilities: Ensure that the section is up to date with all information within the business The completion of all food ordering relevant to business levels. To ensure the volume of food cooked by business levels and ensure minimum wastage To ensure that all food preparation and production is to the required standard. To ensure that any chefs are trained, and duties clearly explained to minimising wastage All food correctly labelled and dated and duly stock rotated To ensure that surrounding kitchen areas and fridges are always clean and sanitised.
