Sales Executive
Our client is looking for an ambitious Sales Executive who wants to assist in their amazing growth in the water sector across the UK and Europe.
The key purpose of the role is to identify and pursue sales opportunities across the UK, in addition to nurturing current client relationships. This is a pivotal position, involving liaison with internal functions, such as Marketing to support growth across a wide variety of industries and from within our established client base.
Responsibilities include:
1. Market and trend analysis and input into marketing and sales strategy.
2. Direct generation of sales leads.
3. Follow up leads generated via website, existing customers and general enquiries.
4. Quote production and associated costings using MS Office.
5. Presentation of quotes to clients and subsequent follow up.
6. Responding to customer needs in line with commercial and technical specifications of AWT.
7. Use of CRM system to ensure quotation follow up and reporting.
8. Monitor sales metrics and progress reporting to Managing Director, including quotes issued, anticipated orders, progress against sales targets.
9. Assisting AWT with service improvement initiatives; taking a proactive approach to increasing productivity and profitability.
10. Building strong relationships, both internally and externally. Ensuring that a high level of customer care and service is maintained at all times.
11. Enhancing own skills and industry knowledge through proactive learning and self-development.
About You:
1. 2 years' proven experience in a sales position within the Water Treatment industry, either.
2. An understanding of water treatment technologies such as RO, softening, filtration, ion exchange or.
3. An understanding of industrial waste water treatment including physico-chemical processes such as flocculation and settlement filtration.
4. A strong understanding of the sales process from initial quotation, through to completion.
5. Proven success in developing and nurturing client relationships.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. A full UK driving license is required and a willingness to travel.
