The Role
Bert’s Bar and Brasserie is in the market for an exceptional Sous Chef to join this incredible and dynamic team. You will be expected to be a pillar in leading and coaching a diverse team of people whilst establishing a healthy working environment that is results focused, enjoyable, educational, and respectful. You will be responsible for driving financial results by demonstrating strong controls, be solutions focused, creative and lead the team with support of the head chef. Bert’s has a strong focus on produce so a strong passion for product is a must.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 2+ years in a similar role in a premium or high-end restaurant
2. Demonstrated dedication and creative vision within a comparable role
3. The ability to be an engaging and motivating team leader
4. Have a passion for seasonal, local produce and clean elegant dishes
5. Good organisational skills with a focus of the prioritisation of tasks in line with business requirements
