The Peninsula London is excited to announce we are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Executive Pastry Chef to join the Team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Executive Pastry Chef in the day-to-day operations, leading a team of skilled Chefs within the Pastry, Bakery and Chocolatier Kitchens.

Key accountabilities:
* Enable The Peninsula London in becoming a recognised culinary destination by creating memorable guest experiences through artistry and uncompromised passion for excellence.
* Produce all food required for the assigned kitchen and control the daily ordering and requisitions to meet budgeted costs.
* Supervise and allocate work according to team members' knowledge and skill level.
* Develop, motivate, and coach departmental employees in maintaining our culture in line with the HSH core principles.
* Ensure personnel, physical and environmental hygiene is maintained in adherence to HACCP.
General requirements:
* Minimum 3 to 4 years relevant experience in a 5-star hotel with a large banquet and pastry shop, or an award-winning standalone pastry-focused business.
* All-encompassing pastry technical knowledge and the ability to identify current culinary trends.
* Ability to always maintain the highest sanitary standards and communicate effectively with the team.
* Fluent English communication proficiency.
