The Foyle Food Group requires an individual for our Export Sales team, to be based at our Shared Service Centre located at the Foyle Omagh site on the outskirts of Omagh, Co Tyrone Northern Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Export Sales Manager to facilitate customer accounts to their full potential, identifying new business opportunities through proactive outbound communication, creating, and assisting the sales pipeline from initial call to close, and continually updating and developing personal knowledge of the products and the market.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Export Sales Manager with customer accounts.
2. Identify new business opportunities through proactive communication.
3. Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to closure.
4. Update and develop knowledge of products and market trends.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
2. Previous Sales/Commercial experience.
3. Proficient IT skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in recording information.
7. Excellent negotiation skills.
8. Good team player who is flexible and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous Sales experience in the red meat industry.
2. International language skills – preferably French.
