Culinary Team Lead Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Stowe School. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for helping to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a prestigious educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and Inspire: Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Menu Planning: Contribute to creating modern, fresh dishes that meet the needs of our students and staff.
* Quality Control: Oversee kitchen operations, inventory management, and daily food preparation to ensure consistency and quality.
* Special Events: Prepare meals for hospitality services and events, working closely with the Head Chef and other team members to deliver exceptional experiences.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen.
* Level 3 Food Safety certification.
* Passion for leading a team and creating innovative, mouth-watering dishes.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying calm, cool, and collected.
