To operate a designated section of the restaurant, assisting the Manager, always focusing on exceeding the expectations of the customer, providing the best possible experience, incorporating EMBANKMENT KITCHENs standards of service requirements at all times, while adhering to financial guidelines and supporting the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the service standards and timings are delivered at all times
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of food, drink, service and EMBANKMENT KITCHEN culture
• Assist the management team in restaurant opening, operation and closing to the required standards
• Work with all Front of House staff to ensure development of customer relationships and creation of loyal regulars
• Hit set KPIs by area
• Have a pro-active view towards promotions, sales and up selling & be involved in coaching and training staff in suggestive selling skills
• Be responsive to all training provided and attend all relevant training sessions
• Act as a role model to all new employees, by showing a positive approach to team spirit through support and positive communication
• Act as a guide and mentor to other members of the Front of House team
• Full commitment to service standards & training plans for new employees
• Attend management and department meetings when required
• Communicate all employee welfare issues to the management team
• Be responsible for designated shift cash outs and cash management and, secure the opening/ close of the business
• Be responsible for the correct till procedures and use of till along with correct cash reconciliation
• Comply with all Licensing legislation
• Adhere to all company rules, regulations and procedures
• Communicate any potential problems to the Restaurant Manager and take a pro-active approach to their resolution
• Consistently demonstrate attention to detail with regards to standards
• Adhere to all food hygiene and Health & Safety requirements and standards
• Be responsible in absence of Restaurant Manager
• Perform any task pertinent to the operation as directed by the Restaurant Manager
