JOB TITLE: Testing Analyst JOB LOCATION: Belfast TERMS: Permanent THE JOB We are looking for a highly skilled Testing/Release Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all software releases meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across various departments. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Conduct end-to-end testing of software releases, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Create and maintain test cases and test data to ensure comprehensive coverage of all software functionality. Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner. Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to ensure testing requirements are clearly defined and test plans are aligned with project timelines. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including test results and progress against release timelines. Manage and maintain the release schedule, ensuring that all releases are delivered on time and within budget. UAT testing and producing UAT test scripts Facilitate post-release testing and monitoring to ensure that new releases have no adverse impact on existing functionality. WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Testing/Release Analyst or a similar role. Experience in software testing methodologies and tools, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience of Openreach's EMP solution testing Experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium or Appium. Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with cloud-based testing environments, such as AWS or Azure. IS FIBRUS FOR ME?
