The Challenge:
We are looking for someone who will enjoy the challenge of strengthening the offering around our values and elevate the restaurant to a destination venue through accolades, in its premium setting, nestled along side a townhouse hotel.

Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation activities.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
* Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
* Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.

A team of 11, in a private members setting (and open to the general public area too) this is a gorgeous setting in Berkley Square, Bristol.
Number of hours per week: 45 hours per week (rota based to include evenings and weekends).
Average number of covers per day: On a typical day a la carte, it'd be around 20-60 per day. On Fridays and Saturdays, or at times when they have an event or private party on they can have group dining up to 65 people, and BBQs / buffets, up to 120 people, this venue really has something for everyone on offer.
Ideal candidate profile:
Knows what it takes to get accolades having worked in fine dining and event space previously, and better still a track record of having elevated a kitchen to that level.
Passion for kitchen garden, foraging, and local sourcing, ideally with some previous experience of doing so in the SW of England.
A proven track record of being a team member that knows how to effectively leverage the team and wider with good motivational skills. Able to balance the stress of service with the right balance of carrot and not just stick.
Can demonstrate a keen interest in effective communication to restaurant by FOH and can collaborate with the restaurant manager to achieve the best results
