Purpose of role We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Learning & Development Manager to support our L&D strategic goals in driving professional growth and continuous learning. This is a stand-alone role, requiring a self-motivated individual who can take ownership of learning initiatives, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and drive the right outcomes for the business. The L&D Manager will work with the CPO and People Team and be responsible for organizing, implementing, and managing training programs and learning pathways for all employees. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure our workforce stays at the forefront of technological advancements and essential soft skills development. The ideal candidate must be creative, resourceful, and scrappy—able to develop innovative solutions with limited resources and think outside the box to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences. Overall responsibility Work with the CPO to develop our career pathways and develop initiatives. Collaborate with the People Team and leadership to create learning pathways for career growth and employee engagement that align to our career pathways. Coordinate and administer training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives to support the L&D strategic plan. Partner with technology teams to identify skill gaps and training needs. Manage the learning management systems (LMS - Linked In Learning) and maintain accurate training records and KPIs. Research, recommend, and source relevant training materials and providers for both technology-focused and non-technical learning programs. Organize and track certification programs, professional development courses, and compliance training where needed. Monitor and report on training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and key performance metrics. Support onboarding programs for new employees by ensuring they receive the necessary technical and professional development training. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development. Assist in the design and delivery of e-learning content, instructional materials, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Develop and facilitate soft skills training, leadership development programs, and workplace effectiveness workshops. Qualifications & Experience: Experience in Human Resources or Learning & Development, preferably within a technology-driven organization. Experience in co-ordinating training in hybrid, remote and inter-nation settings Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Understanding of technical skills and IT certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Agile, Scrum) is a plus. Experience in designing and delivering soft skills and leadership training programs. Proficiency in MS Office, and virtual learning tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving with the ability to develop impactful learning solutions on a budget.
