About The Role
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service are recruiting for a Records Management Officer to implement, coordinate and develop the Service’s approach to records and data management.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* To implement, coordinate and develop the Service’s strategy for records management, regularly advising on the suitability of the design, tools, activities, control measures and processes required to effectively manage the records of the organisation.
* To assist with the Service’s compliance with data/information management and governance legislation and best practice.
* To develop processes and guidance relating to records management to ensure the organisation has effective records management in place.
