Due to continued growth, National FM 247, a leading facilities management company, is looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Helpdesk Coordinator. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering top-notch service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* New business development: Looking for new business with new potential clients via market research, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other databases.
* Account Management: Maintaining and managing relationships with current clients.
* Helpdesk Management: Serve as the first point of contact for clients and staff, handling all incoming service requests via phone, email, and online systems.
* Task Allocation: Log, prioritise, and assign maintenance tasks to the relevant engineers, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring swift response times.
* Work Order Tracking: Monitor job progress, provide regular updates to clients, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
* Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and resolving issues effectively.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and analyse data to improve service delivery.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider facilities management team to ensure seamless operations and support the company’s growth.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a helpdesk, customer service, business development, or facilities role (preferred).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Co-ordinating works via the telephone will be a large part of this role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with facilities management software (desirable).
* A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
