We are looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to manage the kitchen at our scenic hotel in the heart of the New Forest. As Kitchen Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing kitchen operations and food production, producing great quality food for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. This role is a practical one that involves cooking for occasional eevents, some breakfast shifts and managing our small team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage our small kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Preferably with experience of Food Alert or similar. Monitor food costs and inventory, ensuring profitability and quality control. Ensure smooth kitchen operations during service, overseeing food delivery and timing. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent guest satisfaction. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a kitchen management role, ideally in a hotel or similar environment. Be familiar with ms office and computer based record keeping software Be familiar with online ordering systems and GP management Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards. A passion for food, quality, and customer service. Ability to manage budgets and control kitchen costs effectively. Strong organisational and time management skills.
