Drive gathering and reuse of IP in positioning Consulting solutions. Demonstrates the credibility of Oracles solutions at all levels, but with a particular focus on board members and other key decision makers in the customers organization. Understands the needs and challenges of the customer and is able to link them to a set of solutions provided by Oracle. Able to provide solution demos and presentations. Provides detailed expertise in creating technical solutions for specified needs and for creating cross-solutions where needed. Drive key strategic sales programs and initiatives in alignment with License sales. Able to take a senior role on solution where necessary. Participates in strategic account planning, and can do this for major accounts where significant knowledge of a solution set, including competitive offerings, solutions enabled by the solutions, case studies of implementations, links to development teams and information on future solution development. 8-12 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers so that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Oracle Consulting Innovation services Oracle Consulting has a major role to play in helping SaaS customers continually innovate to drive the maximum possible business value from their investment in Oracle software. In support of this goal, OC has launched a new service focused on giving existing SaaS customers programmatic and pro-active access to OC SaaS experts to build and execute a strategic innovation plan. YOUR FUTURE ROLE: Innovation Services Sales Executive The innovation service is a new venture for Oracle Consulting and the role is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales professional to shape the future strategy for the service as well as playing a major role in the success of the rollout. The Sales Executive role is critical to drive the uptake of the service in the Oracle SaaS installed base. The sales process is supported by a formal marketing program to generate leads and hence carries accountability for lead qualification, opportunity development and bookings. A service management team leads service delivery and the Sales Executive plays an important ongoing role in driving customer value through annual innovation services subscription. The Sales Executive role will be deployed as a specialist overlay sales function to avoid channel conflict and enable the innovation service to be driven efficiently to as many customers as possible. Your key responsibilities Develop along with the Innovation Services team the targeting and marketing strategy for the customer segment(s) to be addressed. Participate in marketing activities as required to support generation of leads for innovation services. Nurture identified leads and qualify in order to build a high quality pipeline. Build customer-specific presentations and proposals as required to create the best possible value proposition for each individual prospect. Liaise with regional OC sales owners for targeted customers to ensure there is a fully coordinated approach to the customer. Work with SaaS Sales to create a solid understanding of the value of innovation services and (where possible) position as part of the SaaS sale. Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the innovation service proposition, ensuring that practical experience is translated into the service offering. Work with the service management function to build strong innovation relationships with customers to drive the expansion and renewal of innovation services. Ability to position (through verbal pitches and written proposals) the customer value of complex consulting services. Ability to develop long-term customer relationships in pursuit of expansion of footprint and renewal of business. Growth mindset focused on exploring the best possible messaging and service configuration to maximise sales and customer value. Solid understanding of the drivers of customer value for enterprise software, spanning ERP and/or HCM.
