NG Bailey IT Services are currently recruiting a Data Engineer / Managed Services Engineer with experience in both structured and voice cabling to support our contract covering our MOD contract in Cyprus responding to break fix / faults and minor projects across the portfolio.
The Data Engineer will have experience of installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and preferably hold the CNCI (Certified Network Cable Installer) qualification. You will be responsible for responding to any of our managed service contract break fix requests as per the contract SLA's. It will be desirable to have experience as a service engineer of Electronic IP Security Systems.
This position works in an MOD area where SC Security Clearance (DV Clearance Desirable) is required therefore current or previous Security Clearance is preferred. If you do not have security clearance, this will be requested at offer stage and a condition of employment.
This role is based in Cyprus, therefore initial transportation costs and removals will be provided.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include :
1. Monitor the quality and productivity against programme and maintain daily site records and reports.
2. Ensuring design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements.
3. Locate and rectify faults on structured cabling systems.
4. Work from construction drawings.

4. Knowledge of MOD Standards.
5. IOSH Working Safely - Desirable.
