The position has become available due to the current Training Manager retiring from the business. Summary of role for the Technical Training Manager:
The Technical Training Manager will build and continually improve a systemic training mechanism (which would include a highly detailed skills matrix) to ensure all colleagues meet the minimum required technical / specific skills required for their role. Lead the industrial and technical training operations of both new and long-term employees in all UK locations to ensure competency and compliance are achieved and maintained within their UK Manufacturing Plants. To provide guidance on systematic training according to the needs of operations (incl. skills assessments and training matrix).
Coordinate the requirements of existing and new training and development programs
