Senior Sous Chef position available in a luxury hotel near St Mawes. Key responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen Designing menus together with the Head Chef Supervising the work of the kitchen brigade Ordering food provisions, performing stock control and overseeing inventory management Ensuring that all kitchen operations are in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations Organizing kitchen team work shifts Managing and resolving any issues that may arise quickly and efficiently Requirements for the Role: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar level position Experience in all areas of food preparation including butchery, fish prep, sauce, and patisserie Has the ability to organise, plan and prioritise Demonstrates the ability to consistently deliver a quality product Works in a clean and tidy, and well organised manner On-site team accommodation is available if needed.
