Are you an ambitious chef looking to take the lead of a thriving independent venue? Kamro have partnered with a renowned cafe and bar known for their relaxed vibe, fresh ingredients and creative culinary offerings. With live music, community events and private functions, these venues offer an exciting challenge for a chef with vision and creativity.
As their Head Chef, you’ll oversee the kitchen, crafting daily specials, event menus, and a new small plates menu for the bar. You’re there to ensure top-notch food is served, with the kitchen operating at a high level.
Working Hours
* 40 hours per week, with a flexible rota. Weekend shifts are required.
Responsibilities
* Managing a kitchen and a small team.
* Designing menus and staying ahead of food trends.
* Overseeing kitchen operations, including GP and inventory control.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance.
Experience
* Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef is required.
* Strong leadership and menu creation skills.
* Passion for fresh, high quality food.
* Ability to manage busy kitchens, especially during events.
