The Sous Chef will be supporting the Head & Executive Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and part of managing a team of 5 Chefs in the restaurant kitchen. You will be catering for up to 300 covers per day, so this is a site that requires someone who is used to cooking for high volume at the highest level with a strong knowledge of all the latest food trends, with a special focus on street food.
This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to showcase their skills. The ideal Chef should be from a similar environment or from a high profile hotel/restaurant setting with high standards of food preparation.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
* Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional dishes.
* A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead when necessary.
* Passionate about using seasonal, high-quality ingredients to create innovative dishes.
* Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications.
